Founded by Jen Savill in 2012, Inform Ag has grown alongside the farmers we support. Founded out of Goondiwindi QLD with an ethos of best in class support for our customers
In-house engineering began
With the arrival of Steve Lockyer into the business a desire for helping the Ag industry solve some of its challenges using industrial automation know how.
GrowData Irrigate is born
It started with a cattle watering system right in the middle of the outback. That work has been the basis of what has become our irrigation system.
First large orchard irrigation control
Full irrigation system
On a table grape vineyard just outside of Mildura our team completed its first deployment of GrowData Irrigate. This included pump control, fertigation, valve control and integration with Metos weather.
Track GPS almond harvest
Weighing an almond harvest trailer as it gets filled and emptied at the same time whilst driving through an orchard. We heat-mapped three orchards and learned so much.
Product ramp up
The development and controls teams were expanded to build on the solid base ofGrowData Irrigate and Track to fully productise the suite.
We bought a farm
Farm management platform
We completed the acquisition of the GrowData Farm Management Platform in order to bring together our whole range of products and offer a central command centre to farms.
Growth and Awards
We are servicing more than 300 farms in Australia, expanding internationally while growing our range of products.
And we won Irrigation Australia’s national Award for Water Efficiency Management (Small Business)!
